Another video update - High Def
This video shows a small radius and high power impact on a wall. On the side wall it also shows if there is not enough force to break the wall there is no response
Most productive day of my academic life ever - 25 days to go
11hours, 20 pages, 4000 words, fully commented all code, complete re-factor and some re-design.
FYP is all coming together, application is working really well and a lot faster than planned. Total word count for the report is now 18698. Think it will be roughly 26 000 when complete, hopeuflly not much more. Will upload the working application quite soon
Video Update - FYP
Time is Running Out
Things are coming along well with my Final Year Project, have recently implemented procedural wall swapping. This swaps a wall mesh with any amount of segments that is required, each their own physics object. After many headaches with rotations and positioning of the new bricks in the correct place in the game world this has now been solved. A video of this can be found here Video Capture of the Physics Debugger (Silverlight Required)
I am Currently focussing on my report and have just hit a word count of 10385 and haven't even touched on the design/development sections and critical appraisal yet
The group engine is coming along very well, working with Martyn and Ed. Still a few bugs to be tweaked but it has a lot of depth and is pretty feature full.
As for me I am ****ing myself that I will be finished University in about 40days and will actually have to go into the real world and get a job.
Take Care,
Jonny
Quick Update:
Just a quick update. I currently have about seven weeks left at University in total. Currently working on a group project with Ed and Martyn that is going well and my FYP is coming along nicely and slowly.
Here is a link to a short Silverlight video of where my application is at this point in time.
!!! Welcome to the new Site !!!
